love jubilee ;

Exactly a week ago, on the eleventh of November year two thousand eleven (it really doesn't sounds as cool as it's numerical counterpart) - 11.11.11, was my first anniversary with Victor.

This is a picture-heavy post, and I hope to write as little as I can!

Morning started off with the custom cake we ordered from Whisk - red velvet with macarons on top!

This is the second time this year I've gone on a ride with a Whisk cake on my lap. The first time being my trip to Ipoh for my dad and Andrew's birthdays.

Victor didn't tell me where we were going ...

... and for a moment I thought we were invading someone's castle ._.

When we finally reached Villa Samadhi - I was a bit too mesmerized with the place to even take photos. Only snapped out of it slightly when I entered the room.

Did a double-take outside for the door.

And for this snazzy red piece of furniture.

Tall beds FTW!

I can only dream of having so many cupboards.

On another note, we both brought orange bags!

Double sink. YESSSSSSSSS.

Outdoor jacuzzi! Well, they call it a plunge pool.

Obligatory! :D

Headed out to check the pool.

Then for lunch.

We lunched at Pastry House, as Victor knew the owner.

Or rather, he knew the owner well enough to know that there would be good food.

Our drinks - even though I don't usually take fizzy drinks, this lychee soda was the bomb!

Mix of three salads. All as tantalizing as the next. The Caesear Salad is really something!

Awesome croutons, and a piece of salmon to go with the potato salad.

Dessert. I really didn't bother taking down the names of our dishes that day ._.

Went back to... paint my nails. HMM.

Complimentary kuih from the resort.

Surfing the Internet on TV 8)

The bar upstairs was tiny, but very well-decorated.

Especially love the lights they have all over the resort.

View from the bar!

Grabbed a bite of smoked cod before heading out for dinner.

The entrance at night.

Went back to Pastry House - because it was just that good. Did I mention that it's pretty affordable too?

Don't think there are much other places in KL with this quality and portion of food, for their price.

Cabonara for dinner.

Celebrating our anniversary made me a lazy person. Didn't bother packing on makeup.

After dinner we had cake and watched random shows *coughMasterChefcough*.

Was surprised to see candles in the toilet.

What if the toilet burns down?! There's so much wood around, after all D:

Guess what?

IZ MAI TOOTHBRASH!

Breakfast at the resort the next day.

This is a first.

Amazing bread with even more amazing dips: butter, kaya and pineapple marmalade!

My salmon, with scrambled egg, potato salad and a shot of watermelon juice.

Victor's.

& then it was time to head home.

The day before our anniversary, I saw someone update their status on Facebook - about how insecure she still was after a year of being in a relationship - and it left me pretty baffled.

Anniversaries aren't something huge - but I don't think they should be taken for granted either. I've only ever celebrated one other in my life, and I can't even remember how it went.

It's been a lovely year with someone I really enjoy spending time with - with the occasional debates or not. The passing of a year has been satisfyingly marked, and I can't do anything but to look forward for more days to come! May God continue to guide and bless our relationship!

I love you :P
